Wardleworth Community centre day

Yesterday your local neighbourhood officers attended an event at wardleworth Community centre, which was hosted by a local group from aspire to inspire which is a charity that works with children, young people from BAME and low income backgrounds.we was joined by some of our specialist units such as our mount unit, RPU (road policing unit) and our Tactical aid unit. 

The youngsters took a lot of interest in each role and were able to play with the sirens on our traffic vehicle, and had chance to smash our shields. The children really enjoyed themselves and were asking a lot of questions regarding our police roles.
